Ensemble Allegria is one of Norway's leading music ensembles for strings, based in Oslo. The ensemble consists of 23 regular musicians and is run by the musicians themselves, under the artistic direction of Maria Angelika Carlsen. With a focus on high artistic quality, they combine professionalism with spontaneity and flexibility in their performances.
The ensemble's repertoire is varied and includes classical works, and they often collaborate with leading soloists to produce concerts. In addition to live experiences, Ensemble Allegria is active on YouTube, where they share concerts and music videos, giving a wider audience the opportunity to experience their music.
