Kurdish Democratic Community Center is an organization whose aim is to promote Kurdish culture and community engagement. The center acts as a meeting place for Kurdish immigrants and their families, and offers various activities and events that help strengthen the community. Through courses, seminars and social gatherings, they work to preserve and pass on the Kurdish language and traditions.
The organization also engages in political issues that affect Kurdish communities, both locally and internationally. They facilitate debates and exchange of information, and collaborate with other actors to promote understanding and dialogue. The Kurdish Democratic Community Center thus plays an important role in the integration of Kurdish immigrants into Norwegian society, while safeguarding their cultural identity.
