The Norwegian Sports Association is an organization that works to promote sport and physical activity in Norway. The association aims to reduce financial barriers to participation in sport, which helps to make sport more accessible to everyone. In addition, they focus on the development of young leaders through a mentoring programme, which will strengthen leadership and commitment among young people in the sports environment.
The organization also awards the "Firefighter of the Year" award every year, which honors people who have made a significant contribution to sport. The Norwegian Sports Confederation is actively involved in current issues and political issues that affect sport, and offers digital services and user guides for its members. They work with various partners and suppliers to strengthen sports in Norway, and arrange tickets for major international championships such as the Olympics and Paralympics.
