Norwegian Concert Promoters, known as Norwegian Cultural Organizers (NKA), is a nationwide interest and expertise organization for cultural organizers in Norway. The organization was established in 1982 under the name "Norsk Rockeforbund" at Blitz. NKA is independent of party politics and aims to strengthen members' ability to handle a dynamic field of organizers and society.
The members of NKA get access to various services, including a discount on the entire online store and the opportunity to participate in one free course per year. The courses are also available to external actors such as universities and competence centres. The organization sends out newsletters approximately 12 times a year, which contain updated information relevant to members. NKA works to improve the framework conditions for the organizing field, with a focus on promoting a diverse offer of live art and culture throughout the country.
