Pensjonistforbundet is Norway's largest interest organization for pensioners and the disabled, with over 250,000 members and more than 700 local associations spread across the country. The organization works to safeguard the pensioners' interests and is party-politically neutral, but has a clear seniors' political profile.
The association offers a number of member benefits, as well as social activities such as meetings and trips in the local area. They also organize Relatives' Day, which focuses on safer everyday life with technology. In addition, the Pensioners' Association provides advice and tips on finances, housing and health, and publishes the magazine "Pensjonisten" as a source of information for members. The organization emphasizes the elderly as a resource in society.
