Østausa Borettslag is a housing cooperative located in Oslo. The housing association offers housing to its members, who have the right to live in the apartments through a cooperative arrangement. This means that the members own a share of the housing association, which gives them the right to rent a home within the condominium.
The housing association is organized to look after common interests and management of the property. It is common for housing associations to have a board that handles the day-to-day operations and makes decisions on behalf of the members. Østausa Borettslag emphasizes community and cooperation among residents, which can contribute to a good living environment.
