Øvre Sogn housing association is a form of housing that offers apartments to its members in Oslo. The housing association is organized as an association of residents who together own and manage the property. This gives members the opportunity to influence decisions concerning their living environment and common areas.
The housing association aims to create a good living environment for its residents, with a focus on community and cooperation. There can be joint activities and events that strengthen the neighbourhood. Øvre Sogn housing association also manages joint expenses and maintenance of buildings and outdoor areas, which is an important part of the operation.
As part of the housing association model, members have the right to buy and sell their flats, but must follow the guidelines laid down by the housing association. This provides a certain degree of stability and predictability for the residents.
