Maritim Båtforening was founded in 1972 as a department under Skarpsno Bøyehavn. The association has a central location in Bestumkilen, which makes it easily accessible to boaters in the area. With a modern wharf facility, the association offers 76 boat berths, where everyone has access to both water and electricity. The spaces vary in width from 3 to 6 metres, which gives members flexibility in choosing a boat.
The association also has an ice-free bubble harbor in winter, which provides opportunities for winter storage. With facilities such as toilets and showers, including handicap access, arrangements have been made for a comfortable experience for members. Maritim Båtforening offers winter storage both in a marina and on land, which gives members more options for storing their boats.
