Ringen Kino, which opened in 2008, has a historical name from a former cinema. A modern cinema center with six screens, it offers a varied program that includes blockbusters, Norwegian productions and international quality films. The cinema also has special screenings such as opera, music and knitting cinema, as well as adapted screenings for children, seniors and students.
In addition to regular film screenings, it is possible to rent the cinema hall for private events. Ringen Kino has a cinema club and offers gift vouchers to its visitors. Facilities include a café/bar, which allows visitors to enjoy refreshments before or after the film screening. The cinema also offers 4DX screenings, which add an extra dimension to the movie experience.
