Eckbo's legatere is a private non-profit foundation that was established by Eivind Eckbo in 1923. The purpose of the foundation is to provide annual support to individuals and projects that promote non-profit purposes. In 2013, the endowments were combined, and the foundation now consists of eleven endowments.
Eckbo's legatees have several initiatives, including a scholarship exhibition that is planned at the Vigelandsmuseet in 2026. The foundation also works with projects that promote the welfare of horses in equestrian sports, as well as measures that focus on mastery, inclusion and nature experiences for children and families. Through these activities, Eckbo's grants help to support and develop socially beneficial projects.
