Ekeberg Bekkelaget volunteer is a voluntary organization that offers a range of services and activities for the local community. The organization focuses on creating meaning in life through voluntary efforts, and offers, among other things, accompanying services to doctors and hospitals for those who need it. This helps to make everyday life easier for people who need support in a health context.
In addition to the practical services, Ekeberg Bekkelaget also arranges social activities. Every Thursday there is indoor bandy, which provides an opportunity for physical activity and socializing. Wednesdays are dedicated to meetings for the elderly, where coffee and waffles are served, as well as Wednesday workouts with a physiotherapist. The organization emphasizes including everyone in the community, and there are opportunities to become a volunteer and contribute to the various activities.
