The Salvation Army has an offer in child and family protection through the Home-Start programme, which is located in Gamle Oslo. The organization focuses on supporting families with children in challenging situations, and offers help through volunteers who act as mentors and supporters. Home-Start is based on the principle that early support can contribute to a better quality of life for both children and parents.
Volunteers in the program receive training and guidance to be able to provide effective support to the families. The goal is to create safe and positive relationships, as well as to contribute to a better everyday life for those involved. The Salvation Army works to promote community and strengthen family ties, and their efforts are aimed at creating an inclusive environment for all.
