The Herb Garden Foundation is a non-profit foundation that focuses on activities for children and young people. The organization runs several kindergartens and a school that offers adult education. In addition, they offer dormitories for young home seekers who find themselves in challenging life situations. The foundation is also responsible for internships and work training, which provides opportunities for development and learning.
In addition to its local activities, the Herb Garden Foundation is involved in projects related to urban agriculture and animal husbandry. The foundation expands its involvement internationally by supporting social and cultural initiatives in other countries, including an orphanage and a day center for developmentally disabled children in Somalia/Somaliland. All property and income generated by the foundation is earmarked for its ideal purpose and cannot be used for other tasks.
