Kirkens SOS is a voluntary organization that offers a 24-hour crisis service via telephone and internet. The organization handles approximately 400 inquiries daily, and aims to provide support to people who are in a life crisis. The service is available to everyone, regardless of age, and encourages volunteers to contribute their listening skills and support to those in need.
The organization focuses on promoting courage and hope, and is particularly concerned with supporting people who experience loneliness and psychological challenges. The Church's SOS is also available during holidays and public holidays, and has an environment where there is room to share difficult stories. This enables them to offer a safe platform for people seeking help and support in demanding situations.
