Mennesqueverd is Norway's only life protection organisation, with a focus on promoting the right to life, equality and life support. The organization works to strengthen the protection of human life from conception to natural death, and directs particular attention to vulnerable groups. Through attitude-creating work among young people, teaching and participation in public debate, Mennesqueverd seeks to influence society's view of the value of life.
The organization also fights for girls' right to life and shows the way for greater tolerance in society. Human dignity focuses on the concept of "Life's best choice" to encourage reflection and awareness about life choices. The Life Protection Award is awarded to recognize individuals or groups who have made a significant effort to protect life. Maria Selbekk is the newly appointed Secretary General of the organisation.
