Musikkfondene is a foundation that provides financial support to composers, songwriters and lyricists. Through various funds, such as the Composers' Remuneration Fund and the Text Writers' Fund, they offer funds for both music and text production. The foundation has also developed a new application portal that makes it easier for applicants to submit their projects.
For those who wish to apply for support, it is important to note that the next application deadline is 2 October 2025. The music funds also have an openness policy, where allocations from previous years are available for inspection. The foundation focuses on ensuring stable operations and technical functionality, which contributes to an effective support process for players in the music field.
