The Nature Conservation Association in Oslo and Akershus is a voluntary organization that works to preserve local nature and outdoor life values. The organization focuses on climate and the local environment, and offers a number of activities and projects that engage both adults and young people. Among the offers are the educational offer "near nature school", as well as activities such as mushroom tours and barbecuing with night insects.
In addition to teaching and activities, the association organizes beach clean-ups and charity work to contribute to a cleaner environment. Young people are involved through the Ung Sanker programme, which encourages participation in nature conservation work. The organization also has projects such as the NOA shop and Frønsvollen, as well as nature breath activities in various areas, which provide opportunities to experience and learn more about nature.
