The Norwegian Veterans' Association for International Missions (NVIO) is a non-profit organization that works to support veterans who have participated in international missions. The association offers peer support, which gives veterans the opportunity to bond and share experiences with others in similar situations. In addition, NVIO has an activity calendar that provides information on various events and veterans' get-togethers, where members can gather for social gatherings.
The organization also publishes the magazine "Veteran" and runs Veteranpodden, which provides a platform for discussion and information on veteran-related topics. NVIO actively participates in the public debate, including through its involvement during Arendal Week 2025, and focuses on promoting veterans' voices in politics. They also offer peer support courses and work with various partners to strengthen support for veterans. NVIO also has an online store that sells products related to the veteran community.
