Open House Oslo is a non-profit organization that organizes an annual architecture weekend, known as Open House Oslo. This event provides free access to 76 houses and private homes, and attracts over 15,000 participants each year. The event covers areas such as Oslo, Asker, Bærum and Nesodden, and aims to promote understanding of architecture and design among the public.
Through Open House Oslo, visitors get the opportunity to experience unique homes and buildings that are not otherwise accessible to the general public. The organization collaborates with local ambassadors and architects to create a platform for dialogue about urban development and architecture. This initiative contributes to increased awareness of architectural values and provides insight into how design affects the quality of life in the urban environment.
