Oslo Kiteklubb is a non-profit organization that brings together kiters in Oslo and the surrounding area. The club offers activities both on snow and water, and aims to promote kiting as a social and fun sport. For beginners, the club offers help and courses, so that more people can get to know the sport and develop their skills.
In addition to kiting, Oslo Kiteklubb organizes regular social gatherings, known as kitepils, where members can meet and share experiences. Membership of the club also gives access to discounts on kite equipment from various suppliers. The club keeps members informed of temporary kite bans, which have been introduced to protect wild reindeer in the area.
