WWF Verdens naturfond is a global environmental organization with an office in Oslo. The organization works to stop the degradation of Norwegian nature and has a special focus on endangered species and the conservation of biological diversity. Through various campaigns and activities, WWF engages the public in issues related to nature conservation and environmental protection.
In addition to information work on topics such as microplastics and their impact on the environment, WWF offers sponsorship opportunities, including nature sponsorship and ocean sponsorship. The organization also publishes an annual calendar of nature images, which helps to raise awareness of nature's beauty and importance. WWF makes demands on political decision-makers to ensure the protection of nature, and receives support from the Postcode Lottery in its work.
