Plumbers in Stavanger: 9 firms from Tasta and Hundvåg to Forus

This page gathers plumbing firms in Stavanger by where they are based: at Storhaug and Eiganes right by the centre, southwards from Hillevåg to Forus, and at Tasta and Hundvåg in the north. Use it to find a firm in your part of town: each card gives the address, the phone number and a short description of the work the firm takes on.

Plumbers in Stavanger on the map: from Hundvåg in the north to Forus in the south

The map shows only the firms on this page: tap a point to open the card. The point is the firm's own address and says nothing about how far it travels for a job.

Which group suits you

Three parts of the city: how the firms are spread

  • Near the centre the addresses are in Støperigata and Nymansveien at Storhaug and in Eiganesveien.
  • Further south come Sandvikveien in Hillevåg, Måmyrstien at Auglend and Maskinveien in the Forus business area.
  • North of the centre are Smietunet and Klebersteinveien at Tasta and Austrevigå in the Hundvåg district.
  • Two firms write that they also take jobs in Sandnes, Sola and Randaberg.

The page follows the addresses, not the specialities. The firms are spread across the whole of Stavanger, and most describe themselves as plumbers for both households and businesses. So it pays to start with those based in your part of the city, and then read the card description to see whether your job fits.

Some differences do recur. The three firms near the centre all mention bathrooms, and all three list heating systems, heat pumps or underfloor heating. One has its own tiler and mason on the staff, and one takes new builds all the way from design to finished installation. In the south you find the firm aimed most at commercial buildings and public institutions, with sprinkler systems alongside heating. In the north there is a firm that belongs to a plumbing chain of about 480 independent businesses, one that highlights bathroom renovation, waterborne heating and heat pumps, and one that combines plumbing with core drilling, that is, drilling holes in various materials.

The city has more plumbers than those listed here: this page is a selection. The catalogue holds more than a hundred cards in the category Construction & Installation Services, where the plumbers share space with sheet-metal workers, carpenters and glaziers. Other everyday topics are gathered in the section Services & practical.

From the first call to a price estimate

  • Every card has a phone number, and most link to the firm's website.
  • The cards give no prices: the figure comes from the firm.
  • One firm at Tasta has a button for arranging a site visit on the website its card links to.
  • If the bathroom is being renovated, ask who does the tiling and masonry.

First contact is by phone or through the website. One of the firms in the south has a contact form and an e-mail address next to the phone number, and one at Tasta has a button marked Avtal befaring, meaning arrange a site visit (both seen on 7 October 2026). Two of the cards have no website link, so there the phone is the only way in.

None of the cards mentions money. One of the firms writes on its website that the price varies with the type of job, and that you can get in touch for an estimate. So expect to explain the job before anyone gives you a figure: what is wrong or what is to be built, which district you live in, and whether it is a detached house, a terraced house or a flat. Photos save a round of questions.

A new bathroom is more than pipes: floors and walls also need masonry and tiling. One firm near the centre lists its own tiler and mason, and two write that they deliver fully installed products or solutions. With the others you need to settle whether the firm brings in the remaining tradespeople or whether that becomes your job.

Working hours, evenings and weekends: what the cards and websites say

  • Most cards show opening from 07:00 Monday to Friday, until 15:00 or 16:00.
  • Saturday and Sunday have no opening hours on any of the cards.
  • One firm at Forus describes its phone number as staffed round the clock.
  • One firm at Tasta writes that it offers urgent help.

In October 2026 the catalogue cards showed seven of the firms starting the day at 07:00 and one at 08:00, Monday to Friday, and finishing at 15:00 or 16:00. One card has no opening hours. None of them lists hours for Saturday or Sunday.

Two firms say something themselves about help outside working hours. One, at Forus, describes its number as staffed round the clock. The other, at Tasta, writes that it offers urgent plumbing help in the city and the surrounding area, and that you can call at any time. Both websites were read on 7 October 2026.

Neither of the two says how quickly a plumber can be at your door, or what a job costs in the evening and at weekends. Ask about both on the phone, before anyone gets into the van.

Questions and answers

Is there a plumber in Stavanger on call in the evening and at weekends?

Two firms on this page say something about it on their own websites (read on 7 October 2026): one in the group South of the centre has a phone staffed round the clock, and one in the group Tasta and Hundvåg offers urgent help and asks you to call at any time. The other cards show working hours Monday to Friday only.

What does a plumber charge?

The cards say nothing about price. One of the firms writes that the price varies with the job and that you can ask for an estimate; get it in writing, and ask whether travel and materials are included.

Do the plumbers also come to Sandnes, Sola and Randaberg?

Two of the firms say so outright in the description, and one gives the whole region as its working area. The other cards say nothing about the neighbouring municipalities.

Who renovates bathrooms?

Four firms mention bathrooms in the description: the three in the group Storhaug and Eiganes and one at Tasta. One of them lists its own tiler and mason on the staff.

Are the plumbers open on Saturdays?

Not according to the cards: the opening hours cover Monday to Friday, and Saturday and Sunday have no hours.

Who takes sprinkler systems and service agreements for commercial buildings?

Look in the group South of the centre: the firm at Forus lists sprinkler, heating, cooling and sanitary systems on its website, and offers service agreements. One firm at Tasta also mentions service agreements in the card description.

Who drills holes for new pipes through concrete or masonry?

One firm in the group Tasta and Hundvåg has core drilling as a speciality of its own alongside plumbing. The card description mentions drilling holes in various materials for both households and businesses.
