Sandefjord Police Station is part of the public administration and offers a number of services to its citizens. Among the most important tasks are the release of names and information about traffic conditions in various areas. The police are also working on modernizing border surveillance against Russia, as well as comprehensive and long-term development of the police to meet the needs of society.
In addition to the aforementioned services, the police in Sandefjord have established border control for recreational vessels at Framnes quay. This measure is part of the police's efforts to handle border control in an efficient manner. It is necessary for travelers to arrange a meeting time in advance for arrival, which contributes to a more structured process. The police are also responsible for security related to football matches, where they cooperate with organizers to ensure safe conditions for the public.
