Østfold Public Transport is responsible for public transport and school transport in Østfold. The company is wholly owned by Østfold County Council and is responsible for planning, coordinating, booking and marketing public transport in the region. This includes both bus and ferry services, as well as information about road works and public transport services.
The company offers a number of services, such as ticket refunds and travel guarantees, as well as a lost and found service for buses and ferries. Østfold Public Transport also has opportunities for bus advertising and uses artificial intelligence on its website to improve the user experience. There is a focus on social responsibility and inclusion in their work, which is part of their current action program for transport.
