LilleFot Kindergarten is affiliated with Gulset Church and offers a play-based learning approach for children. The kindergarten has several age-groups, including Sokkelesten, GoFoten, Langbein, Tusenbein and Stankelbein. The educational plan emphasizes both development and well-being, and the kindergarten aims to create a safe and inclusive environment for all children. The staff is committed and has expertise in kindergarten pedagogy.
In addition to the basic kindergarten services, LilleFot Kindergarten wants to be a resource for other kindergartens in the work of establishing contact between children and the elderly in the local community. The kindergarten uses music, art and culture as tools to promote health and well-being, and arranges regular meeting points between children and the elderly. With support from the Extra Foundation, they are working towards developing a model for cooperation between kindergartens, nursing homes and community centers, with the goal of increasing the joy of life, improving public health and promoting understanding and interaction between generations.
