Redd Dyra Telemark is a voluntary foundation that was established in 1977, with a focus on helping homeless cats. Every year, the foundation has over 600 cats come through, and their work is centered around giving these animals a second chance at life. Redd Dyra Telemark also offers foster homes for cats that need extra follow-up, which is crucial to being able to continue their efforts.
All the cats taken in by the foundation are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered, which helps to ensure their health and well-being. The foundation's premises include a charming cat house, where visitors can meet a welcoming committee of four-legged furry friends. To maintain operations, they depend on good foster homes, which play an important role in the rehabilitation of the cats.
