The Telemark Vocational Training Office is an institution that offers training in over 30 different professions and fields. The office aims to develop skilled workers through apprenticeship schemes, and it places great emphasis on cooperation between companies and educational institutions. This cooperation is essential to ensure that apprentices gain relevant experience and competence in their respective professions.
In addition to offering apprenticeship schemes, the office provides information about the rights and obligations of apprentices, as well as resources for adults who want to take a vocational certificate. They also organize job fairs and school competitions to promote interest in technological subjects. The office has offices in several regions, including Agder, Trøndelag and Telemark, and has developed a platform for searching for apprenticeships and training companies, making it easier for both apprentices and employers to find each other.
