Telemark Probation Office is part of the Norwegian Prison and Probation Service and is based in Skien. The office offers restorative processes that aim to support individuals in rehabilitation and reintegration into society. Through program activities, they focus on health services and substance abuse management, which is central to their approach to rehabilitation.
The office facilitates leave and parole, and provides support for daily routines and financial assistance for those under supervision. In addition, they offer individual follow-up through a contact officer, who provides a personal approach to each individual. There is also the possibility of transfers to other prisons in Norway, which may be relevant for some users of the services.
