The Foster Care Service in Bufetat, Region South, has its main focus on supporting and guiding potential foster parents in Skien. The service offers information sessions on the process of becoming a foster parent, as well as training and assessment of interested candidates. The service collaborates with the Directorate of Children, Youth and Family Affairs to ensure that the offer is in line with current guidelines and best practice. The information sessions can also be offered in digital format, which provides flexibility for the participants.
