Skiens Kunstforening is an organization that focuses on contemporary art and offers a varied program of art exhibitions. The association has unique exhibition spaces that are used to showcase both installations, sculptures and drawings. In addition to permanent exhibitions, they organize retrospective exhibitions, such as with the artist Turid Schelver.
In addition to visual art forms, the activities include performance art, with examples such as "Gråtende Madonna". The association also emphasizes green art projects and collaborates with various artists and artist groups to promote artistic development. Membership is offered to those interested in art, and member tours and art dissemination are organized to engage and strengthen the community among members.
