The Blue Cross children's station in Skien offers low-threshold services for children and families in vulnerable situations. The services are available without the need for a referral, and all activities are free of charge. At first contact, a get-to-know-you conversation is held, where each family is assigned a separate contact person. This ensures a personal approach and follow-up.
The center focuses on strengthening children's upbringing conditions through adapted activities that promote security and good development. In addition to the services for children, pregnant women are also welcome to use the services. There is an opportunity to set goals together with the staff, which contributes to a structured and supportive process for the families.
