Forus Hesteklinikk specializes in equine veterinary medicine and celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2024. The clinic offers advanced treatment methods such as PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and IRAP (Interleukin-1 Receptor Antagonist Protein), as well as services such as cryosurgery and dentistry. With a laboratory and blood bank available, the clinic can perform comprehensive diagnostics to manage joint problems and chronic conditions in horses.
Located at Forus Racecourse, a well-known horse arena, the clinic has been part of the area since 1989. The veterinary team consists of experienced professionals with specialized expertise, including André Løkken, Linda Köldal Stenbakk, Rebecca Sirevaag and Per Oma. In addition to treatments at the clinic, they also offer services in stables in Sør-Rogaland, where they bring with them the necessary equipment such as X-rays, ultrasound and gastroscopes. During trotting races, the clinic acts as a rearguard for the event veterinarian in case of acute injuries.
