The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Stavanger offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere for Christian worship each Sunday. The church facilitates spiritual development and learning about Jesus, with activities and classes divided by age group or interest. This provides opportunities for fellowship for all age groups, and participation is voluntary, so that one can enjoy the service without being required to actively participate.
Church members are encouraged to dress in "Sunday best", and there is also an opportunity to attend with someone for the first time. In addition to the Sunday meetings, there are opportunities to arrange meetings Monday through Saturday. The church emphasizes the value of fellowship and cooperation, and welcomes everyone, regardless of background, to join their activities and programs for youth and children.
