Mestergaarden is a store specializing in home goods and has an attached workshop for the repair, restoration and reupholstering of furniture and antiques. The store has roots that date back to 1850, giving it a long history and tradition in craftsmanship and furniture care in Stavanger.
The workshop is still run in line with the visions of the famous master carpenters Chr ‘Mahogni’ Christensen and John Bjerga, both of whom have had a great influence on the craft trade in the region. Mestergaarden thus offers a combination of modern and traditional craftsmanship, and has gained experience through generations.
