Stavanger Reception Centre is a public institution whose main task is to receive and register asylum seekers. The centre acts as a first point of contact for people seeking protection in Norway. Here they receive the necessary information about the asylum process and access to various services that may be relevant to them at this stage.
The Reception Centre also offers support and guidance, as well as help in navigating the Norwegian system. It is important to note that the centre is part of the national asylum system and cooperates with other public agencies to ensure that asylum seekers receive the help they need. Stavanger Reception Centre thus plays an important role in the integration of new arrivals into society.
