PMP Eye Surgery is an eye center in Stavanger that specializes in the treatment of eye diseases and vision correction. The center offers a variety of services, including presbyond age-appropriate femtosecond laser treatment, which is specially developed for people over 50 years of age who need reading glasses. The treatments are designed to give patients freedom from glasses and contact lenses, with a focus on vision surgery.
The center uses modern technology and methods for vision correction, including laser correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and deviated corneas. Femtosecond LASIK technology from Carl Zeiss is used to ensure high precision and safety during the operation. Patients often experience a rapid recovery of vision, and many can see well both near and at a distance the same evening as the treatment. It is common for patients to resume driving and work the day after the procedure.
