PAAHJUL Bike Repair Shop is a collaboration between Kirkens Bymisjon and HitecVision, located in Stavanger. The workshop offers bike repair services and aims to provide job training to people who are outside of ordinary work. This initiative is part of a social entrepreneurship, where the focus is on creating positive social effects rather than financial profit.
Social entrepreneurship involves businesses recognizing and addressing social problems by using methods from the business world. PAAHJUL Bike Repair Shop works with this principle by combining bike repairs with opportunities for training and work experience for people in challenging life situations. This contributes to both individual development and a more inclusive society.
