Clean Shores Global is a non-profit organization with both global and local initiatives, which originated in Stavanger. The organization’s main focus is to clean beaches, waterfronts and riverbanks of plastic and other waste, with the goal of promoting healthy oceans and responsibility. Clean Shores Global operates with a non-political and non-religious approach, and engages local communities in environmental protection efforts.
The organization offers a free app for community members, which makes it easier to participate in clean-ups and contribute to a cleaner coastline. Clean Shores Global emphasizes social responsibility and sustainability in its activities, and inspires action through quotes about the ocean and discovery. Through their work, they contribute to increased awareness of environmental challenges and encourage community participation in nature conservation.
