The Rogaland Nature Conservation Association is a voluntary organisation that focuses on nature conservation and environmental issues in the county. The organisation works to protect nature and the environment, with the aim of ensuring that human activity does not exceed the limits of nature's tolerance. They offer information about local projects and issues, and have local branches in several areas, including Dalane and Nord-Jæren.
To engage the local community, the Nature Conservation Association organises activities and events that promote awareness of biodiversity and sustainable development. They also provide access to resources and articles related to energy and climate, and are involved in land issues and area protection. In addition, they have a wetland visitor centre in Jæren, which serves as a source of information and a place for learning about local ecosystems.
