Open Hands For You is a voluntary organisation based in Stavanger, which aims to support refugees and immigrants in Norway. The organisation offers a varied programme of activities such as Norwegian courses, language cafés and swimming lessons, which are adapted to different age groups. For young people between the ages of 13 and 20, there is a separate youth club, while children in grades 5-7 can participate in the junior club.
In addition to physical activities, Open Hands For You also has a digital café that promotes online community, as well as an open café for social meetings. Family guidance is another initiative that has proven to be successful, and the organisation focuses on activity and unity throughout the year. There are also opportunities for individuals to volunteer and contribute to the community.
