Breivika student kindergarten is located in child-friendly and forest-like surroundings in Tromsø. The kindergarten has five bases with a capacity for approximately 72 children, and opens 15 minutes earlier than other student kindergartens. Although it is specially adapted for health students, it is open to all children.
The kindergarten places great emphasis on sustainable development and responsibility for nature. Through various activities, the children learn to take care of themselves, each other and the environment. Active use of Tromsømarka provides opportunities for outdoor activities, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals serve as guidelines for the kindergarten's educational work.
