Stakkevollan Open Daycare Center in Familiens Hus offers a free service for families with children aged 0 to 6 years. The daycare center emphasizes interaction between parents or caregivers and children, and serves as a meeting place where parents can share experiences and support each other. There is a focus on cooperation, including responsibility for cleaning up after activities.
In addition to play and social activities, a public health nurse is available for questions related to children's health. The Educational-Psychological Service (PPT) is also present to provide guidance on children's development. The daycare center has guidelines that include limiting mobile phone use during the stay, which promotes interaction and presence between adults and children.
