Grut Kaffebar ILP is located in the new teachers' building in Tromsø and is part of Samskipnaden, which also has Grut coffee bars in Alta as well as in the MH building and the Teorifagsbygget. The cafe offers a menu that consists exclusively of vegetarian and vegan dishes, which sets it apart from many other coffee bars.
The cafe has a strong focus on the environment and recycling, and does not use plastic products where possible. The selection includes homemade bruschetta, wraps, sandwiches, baguettes and cakes. In addition, barista coffee, juices and smoothies made from scratch are served. Grut Kaffebar ILP also offers catering services for various occasions.
