Galleri NORD is an art gallery that focuses on Northern Norwegian and Sami art, as well as handicrafts and duodji. The gallery also functions as a frame workshop and studio, giving visitors the opportunity to see different aspects of art production. In addition, the gallery organizes exhibitions and functions as a cultural arena for special occasions.
The gallery's profile is strongly linked to the Northern Norwegian identity, and it seeks to highlight the unique culture and traditions of the region. Through its activities and exhibitions, Galleri NORD helps to convey the colorful identity of the people of the Arctic, in contrast to the often cold and snowy landscape.
