The Dalgårdtunet kindergarten in Trondheim has five departments with space for a total of 93 children. The kindergarten offers two toddler departments for children aged 1-3 years, as well as the Katthult and Kråkeslottet departments for children from 3-6 years. A special feature of the kindergarten is the outdoor base called Kvisthula, which gives children the opportunity to spend a lot of time outdoors and develop social skills through play and interaction.
The kindergarten emphasizes a pleasant environment for both children and adults, where each child is seen and heard. The educational concept is based on playful learning, which should give the children a solid foundation for development. The staff works actively to convey how important the children are, and focuses on creating a caring atmosphere characterized by smiles, hugs and positive words.
