The learning workshop Vårres kindergarten in Trondheim offers a caring environment with a focus on children's development. The kindergarten has three departments that accommodate children of varying ages and numbers. The staff is stable, which contributes to a safe and well-run environment. The kindergarten is located near a golf course, ski slope and toboggan run, and has access to Brekkskogen and Bymarka's nature, which provides good opportunities for outdoor activities.
The outdoor area is varied and designed for play and activity, and the kindergarten practices composting and recycling in its kitchen garden. As a full-service kindergarten, three meals a day are served. The main focus is on developing social skills and life skills in the children. The kindergarten places great emphasis on seeing, hearing and caring for each individual child, which is a central part of the educational concept. Through playful learning and interaction, the children are given the opportunity to develop and become the best version of themselves.
