Stavne bilingual kindergarten is located in Stavne in Trondheim and offers a bilingual environment where both English and Norwegian are used in everyday life. The kindergarten focuses on unity, care and mastery, and facilitates the active participation of the oldest children in the everyday life of the youngest. The children's groups are divided into "big children" and "toddlers" to adapt activities and play to the children's age and development.
The kindergarten serves lunch three days a week and breakfast on field trips, with a preference for using clean and local ingredients. The emphasis is on creating a good kindergarten environment characterized by warmth and presence from the adults, who work to promote a positive community among the children, as well as good cooperation with parents and families.
