Gullsmed Karlgård AS was established in 1982 by master goldsmith Helge Karlgård as a one-man company. As the number of orders increased, it became necessary to hire more jewelers. Today, the team consists of eight professionals with high competence, who offer personal help and advice to customers. The workshop is open to visitors, so customers can see the process behind jewelery production.
The company specializes in the design of unique jewellery, as well as the repair and maintenance of existing jewellery. In addition, they offer engraving services and the production and refurbishment of bunad silver. Gullsmed Karlgård AS also buys gold from customers and organizes training sessions in the field of jewellery. With a combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology, they ensure a professional result for their customers. The workshop is centrally located in Trondheim, but they carry out assignments for both shops, companies and private customers all over the country.
