NTNUI-Bumerang is an outdoor sports store that offers free loans of sports and hiking equipment. The store has a wide selection of equipment adapted to different activities, making it easy for both beginners and experienced athletes to find what they need. A focus on sustainability and the sharing economy is central to the operation, which contributes to a more environmentally friendly approach to outdoor life.
The store is open to everyone, not just members of NTNUI, and has a community-oriented perspective with an emphasis on inclusion and community. Committed volunteers play an important role in the operation, and they regularly organize activities and events to promote outdoor life and active participation in the local community. NTNUI-Bumerang thus functions as a meeting place for outdoor enthusiasts and helps to strengthen ties between people with common interests.
