Betel Brass is a Christian brass band founded in 1958 by Peter Kristoffersen. The organization aims to contribute to musical experiences in churches and congregations, and their repertoire includes both old and new hymns as well as band music. Conductor Bjørn Aakre is behind many of the compositions and arrangements that the band performs.
The ensemble is open to new members, regardless of skill level, and includes both students and retirees. Betel Brass actively participates in church services and worship evenings, thus offering a platform for music enthusiasts who want to be part of a community with a focus on Christian music.
